( Image Credit Photo taken with Nikon D3S) I will be getting my hands on a DSLR camera soon, mostly because I really need for my blogging work. I have been really dialing into the Canon EOS 7D but take a quick look at the new Nikon D3S DSLR , which isn’t too bad and quite as nice as the 7D. I spent nearly a month with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM , but it only took a single outing with it to realize that I preferred it to the lens that spends the most time on my Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM. It wasn’t any one big thing though, instead it’s the small things, all added up, that made the Sigma’s images look just a bit better than the Canon’s. Time for the Nikon D300s to step aside. Because the new Canon EOS 1D Mark IV has just been given the official nod. Aimed at the very best snappers in the business, it comes loaded with the exactly the kind of top end features you’d expect, including a dual Digic 4 processor, 16 megapixels and a sharp new 45-point auto focus system. There’s no doubting that the Canon EOS 1D Mark IV is not for DSLR noobs. But if you’re looking to step up your game, then this might just be the top notch snappe

Canon EOS 7D at B&H I’ll admit being a bit skeptical of the Canon EOS 7D , with my chief concern centered around the 18 megapixels stuffed onto the APS-C sensor. As it turns out though, Canon seems to have done a masterful job at handling any imaging concerns, I’ll assume using equal parts magic, sensor technology advances, and hefty doses of DIGIC IV. At any rate, this super specified camera seems to be garnering all the buzz, which probably isn’t making the Nikon D300s feel any better.
