TOKYO -- Panasonic is planning to take 100 percent ownership of its subsidiaries Sanyo Electric and Panasonic Electric Works in a move costing up to $9.4 billion to strengthen green businesses such as electric cars and solar panels.

Panasonic's plans to unveil a 3D camcorder appear to have been confirmed this weekend as Panasonic has posted a placeholder for the device itself. The HDC-SDT750 resembles a traditional camcorder but has a special conversion mount to introduce stereoscopic 3D. It should capture in 1080p AVCHD (H.264) at 60FPS, although the frame rate implies it might drop to 30FPS for 3D.... Camcorder ...
