Nikon Fabre Photo EX portable stereoscopic microscope review

I usually don’t do reviews, but when I do… I make sure it is something interesting and fun. The Nikon Fabre Photo EX microscope was released back in February 2009 but unfortunately only for the Japanese market. If you are in Japan you can buy it from Amazon for less than US$1000 (including the DSLR adapter) but since Amazon Japan doesn’t ship to other countries (excepts books and CDs), I had to get mine from the JapanTrendShop.com (they do ship to the US). Sony A850 at B&H I’m a big fan of the idea of more consumers getting access to DSLR cameras with full frame sensors, and that’s exactly what Sony has offered with the Sony A850 . It’s tempting to think of it as A900 lite, but honestly it isn’t really skimping on anything, it’s just a real good deal. In a review at Photoreview.com.au, the A850 pulls in lab numbers similar to the A900, and nabs an overall score of 8.5 out of 10, but I did notice this detail I hadn’t caught elsewhere:
