Flip Video MinoHD update unveiled

Flip Video has updated the MinoHD, a $230 camcorder which records to a more capacious 8GB of internal memory, up from 4GB, which will record two hours of video which can be played back on the 2-inch screen. Reviewers at PC World liked it , especially noting the new aluminum finish makes it feel like a more solid device. 27th February 2009, 02:31 am Tamron’s new ultra wide angle zoom for APS-C/DX is getting a bit of a blasting from reviewers. Now, when I see this happen, I get curious. Lens testing is often badly designed for such zooms, involving test chart targets at distances which are extremely close and result in very bad figures caused mainly by a strong curvature of field (dished, ‘cap’ shape relative to the camera) when gets worse in effect the closer you focus.So I obtained a Tamron 10-24mm to test.
